Coventry City U23's siffered their first defeat in 2019, going down to a 3-0 loss away to Millwall.

At Calmont Road, which is currently Millwall's training ground, Jason Farndon made changes from the side which beat Watford on January 25th with Corey Addai. Junior Brown, Amadou Bakayoko and new signing Charlie Wakefield in and Tom Bilson, Declan Drysdale, Dexter Walters and David Bremang dropped to the bench.

The game did not start well for City with Mason Saunders-Henry running on to a Skalak pass and smashing the ball high into the net.

The Sky Blues plugged away with a booking for Josh Eccles and one decent Allassani effort but three minutes from time, Fred Onyedinma crossed for Czech international Jiri Skalak to head home with George Alexander adding a third in the 90th minute from a Skalak cross, to send City to defeat.
