City U23's Edged Out Of A Win At Colchester

Coventry City U23's  were pegged back at Colchester United and held to a 1-1 draw.

City travelled to the Weston Community Homes Stadium with trialists Navid Nasseri and Alex Gogic in a young starting line up which also saw a first start for Kwame Thomas.

The Sky Blues were ahead in seven minutes when Jordan Shipley scored with a low drive.

However, with six minutes left, Colchester were level with a 25 yard stormer from Charles Edge.
