Coventry City U21's were beaten 1-0  at Huddersfield Town

Darren Murray and Brian Reid had Danny Swanson back from a knee injury and were able to also include Conor Thomas and Marcus Tudgay in an otherwise young side which was without George Thomas and Cian Harries, who were away on international duty, plus the injured Jake Richards for this game at the John Smiths Stadium in Huddersfield.

They took a team which included former City keeper Joe Murphy in goal and were a goal down after sixteen minutes when Adam Hammill sent a curler into the net.

That proved to be the only goal of the game as City failed to convert the few chances they did have whilst Corey Addai in the City goal made some good saves.
