Coventry City U21's are rock bottom of the PDL League 2 North division after a 2-0 defeat to Huddersfield Town

In a behind closed doors PDL League 2 North game at Ryton, Ian Foster, whose side went into the game bottom of the table, fielded a trialist, defender Stuart Urquhart in a young team.

Huddersfield had the first real chance in the 16th minute when Daniel Carr headed over and this was followed thirteen minutes later by Daune Holmes firing at Lee Burge.

City went up the other end with skipper Billy Daniels curling wide from a free kick on the half hour mark.

Two minutes into the second half and City went a goal down when an attack down the left saw Daniel Carr score with a close range finish.

In the 56th minute, City's trialist tried to chip Bennett in the Terriers goal from an Aaron Phillips long ball but on 64 minutes, Huddersfield scored a second when Daniel Carr headed home a Paul Mullin cross.

City brought on James Maddison and he crossed for Aaron Phillips to fire wide from outside the area in the 70th minute.

Burge made a cracking save from a Mullin header as City went down to defeat.
