City U21's Beaten By Sheffield United

Coventry City U21's are still looking for their first PDL League 2 North win of the season after going down to a 2-1 defeat against Sheffield United.

At Worksop Town FC, Ian Foster's team which included loanee Jamar Loza and was skippered by Aaron Phillips, took on a United side that featured the likes of Baxter, Westlake, Coady, Cuvelier & Bunn and one that won a fourth minute corner and a second in the 26th minute.

Seven minutes later, City won their first corner of the match but the Blades cleared and went up the other end and Harry Bunn scored.

In the 53rd minute, City won their second corner of the game but two minutes later, United broke and scored a second through Ironside.

City came back with a goal on 68 minutes from Jamar Loza from a Daniels pass and had a late flourish but went down to defeat.

City; Burge, Phillips, Finch, Urquhart, Haynes, Stevenson, Daniels, Thomas, Garner, Maund, Loza. Subs: Gott, Quinn, Smith, Rankin, Baker-Richardson.
