City U21's Beaten By Forest

Coventry City U21's were beaten 1-0 by Nottingham Forest in a PDL League 2 North game this afternoon.

At Sixfields, which City U21 must play two of their 'home' matches at, as part of the Premier Development League regulations, Ian Foster's side had the better of the chances in the opening forty five minutes.

In the 49th minute, Forest took the lead when Ryan Sellars scored after McLaughlin's shot had been parried by Lee Burge.

Ben Maund hit a post with a 64th minute volley but City could not find the net and were beaten. 

City: Burge, Smith, Haynes, Finch, Urquhart, Lawton, Garner, Quinn (Maddison 62), Maund, Thomas, Rankin. Subs; Dion Kelly-Evans, Gott, Harries, Stevenson.

Forest: Durrant, Polimos, Guthemy, Schoenecker, Wilson (Worral 46), Sellars, Blake, Rees, Walker, Petravicius, McLaughlin. Subs: Kamaengo, Mulraney, Hollingsworth, Elliott.
