Coventry City U21's beat Brighton & Hove Albion 3-0in a friendly this afternoon.

In a behind closed doors game at Ryton, the Sky Blues, fielding three un-named trialists took the lead, in the 17th minute through Mathieu Manset from the edge of area and went further in front with a stunning volley from Adam Barton in the 40th minute. 

In the 74th minute, City were awarded a penalty when Ryan Haynes was brought down and Billy Daniels scored after the keeper intially saved his spot kick.

City U21's are next in action a week today with a PDL League 2 North game at Derby County. The game takes place at Derby County's training ground.
