Coventry City U21's were back to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Birmingham City.

Lee Glover fielded James Maddison and Martin Lorentzson in his starting eleven.

Lorentzson looked good in the first half, displaying some nice touches in a half where the visitors struck the bar twice.

The Swede was replaced at half time of a game which saw his replacement Jordan Thompson give City the lead in the 61st minute following a free kick.

Maddison was replaced by Jak Hickman straight after the goal, after a good shift.

Birmingham's trialist Christie Manzinga hit a post but City had their first win under Lee Glover.
