Coventry City U18’s travel to Reading on Saturday.

Gregor Ricoh’s side kept their place at the top of the Academy League table with a 2-0 victory at home to Aston Villa last week.

City are four points clear of second placed Reading who were beaten 3-0 at Watford and speaking to the club website, Greg Rioch said: "It has been a fantastic run for us this season and Reading have been impressive also. We've played ten games now and won eight of them so the game at the weekend will be a great opportunity to see if we can go there and get a win.

"More importantly, we have to play well first and that will be really interesting for us. It will be a nice opportunity to see how far we have come as we always knew we had a good age group.

"The first-year and second-year apprentices are looking good and not only that but we have a good group of Under-16's as well.

"We are blessed with good local talent and with Reading having a good established Academy, it will be a good test for us."

Kick off at Park Lane in Finchampstead is at 11am and the currently appointed referee is P.Jacecko.
