Coventry City U18's were beaten 3-1 by Nottingham Forest this morning.
There were no goals in the first half but less than a minute, City had Chris Camwell sent off for a foul on Hayes.
The Sky Blues did take the lead when substitute Kyle Finn scored from a Shipley pass in the 66th minute but two minutes later, Forest levelled through Hayes and in the 71st minute, a cracking strike from their number three Joe Re, put Forest 2-1 up.
In stoppage time, Forest were awarded a penalty and Brereton duly scored to send City to a 3-1 defeat.
