Coventry City U18's played some excellent stuff before tiring in the last fifteen minutes and going down to a defeat.

Forced to field a very young side with a number of U16's, City played well in the opening exchanges.

Ben Maund and Eli threatened the Swans goal whilst City passed the ball round well.

In the 25th minute, Forrester forced the visiting keeper in to a good save with a left footed shot. Eli had another shot just wide in the 29th minute and Maund fired wide two minutes later.

The Swans keeper was called into action making a double save from both of City's forwards and just before the interval, made a diving save to his left.

A minute into the second half, City cleared their lines and broke upfield. The ball struck the hand of the Swansea centre half and a penalty was awarded. Ben Maund took the spot kick but sent it over the bar.

In the 53rd minute, City took the lead through Jemal Wiseman who slipped home from six yards. City attacked again down the right and this time, Courtney Baker was in the right place to head home from four yards in the 56th minute.

In a rare Swansea attack, Alex Gott who had come on at half-time, made a tremendous save diving to his left before Madders had a shot pushed over at the other end.

Another great move in the 69th minute, saw Madders hit the post with a right footed shot, followed by Baker having a header saved.

Swansea pulled one back in the 75th minute when a through ball found their number four who stroked home. With Wiseman off the pitch, Swansea now had the impetetus.

Four minutes later, Swansea levelled from a tap-In. Then in the 87th minute, a corner was initially parried by Gott but the ball fell loose and was bundled in to see City go down to a defeat.
