Dan Smith fired City, who were denied two penalties, ahead with a low drive in to the bottom corner from twenty yards after thirty six minutes of play.
A great run by Green was smashed home by substitute Kyle Finn in the 56th and two minutes later, Liam Doyle hit the third with a shot from twenty yards.
