The Sky Blues Academy have taken left back Alex Donald, Right Back Joe Pegg, Central Defender Ricky Fletcher, Left Winger Lewis Parkin and Striker Ben Maund.
The youngsters who have come from the U16's will be involved with the U18's for the rest of this season before they start full time next season.
The quintet will be added to by Jemal Wiseman, who was released by Arsenal and Louis Garner who was released by Manchester United.
