Coventry City U21's worked really hard but were beaten 1-0 at home by Sheffield Wednesday

Lee Glover named a very young team against a more experienced Owls eleven. He had to play a few players out of position with young defender Jak Hickman in midfield and Ryan Haynes playing left wing.

Wednesday took the lead in the 29th minute when they won the ball back and with Dion Kelly-Evans down after being hurt in a challenge, Jack Stobbs curled the ball over him and into the net.

City were a lot better in the second half with Jak Hickman in fine form, adding to some fine work from Haynes, Maycock, Harries and Whitmore but they could not find a way through and went down to defeat.
