With Ashley Cain, Adam Walker, Curtis Wynter and Jermaine Grandison all having progressed from the Academy and recently signed professional contracts, City are now bringing in the U16's.
Speaking to the CT, Academy boss Greg Rioch said; We have got six first years coming through the door and they are an exciting group as well - Luke Adams, Cyrus Christie, Lee Burge, Connor Gudger and Luke Bottomer.
"That will give us a group of 16 to work with and there are some really talented boys in that group.
There are some local lads there and I am really excited about them with the ten we have already got."
That ten include defender Jordan Clarke who has already been in the first team squad along with striking duo Shaun Jeffers who scored eighteen goals last season and Robert Ogleby as well the likes of Michael Quirke, Callum Wilson, Jamie Greenway and Nathan Cameron who have all established themselves in the squad last season.
