Coventry City’s Academy players were today, given some media training by highly respected Broadcaster Martin Tyler.
Arranged by Andy Ellis who played for Woking whom Tyler supports, the players were told that they can have a good relationship with journalists.
Tyler, who has worked for Jimmy Hill in his media career, told the club website: "There are a lot of players and people in football who will tell you the media only wants to be negative about footballers. But what I was hoping to do today was to show that not all the media is like that and hopefully they can build a relationship in the future.
"Part of being a successful footballer is having this relationship with the media so I hope the players took something out of today."
City U18's are without a fixture this Saturday.
