Coventry City U21's coach Lee Glover has said that it was a good performance from his young side against Leeds United.

A team which was mainly a City U18's side plus Ryan Haynes, DIon Kelly-Evans, Ben Stevenson and Lateef Elford-Alliyu went down to a 2-1 defeat to a stronger, older Leeds side and speaking about the game, Lee Glover told Keiran Crowley: "It was a good performance. You look at the squad we've got out and we've got a lot of second-year and first-year Academy players out there.

"Leeds brought an experienced side so it was always going to be a good test for us and I felt the lads stood up to it really well.

"We'll watch it back and see where we can improve. Sometimes, the players have to believe in themselves a little bit more and that'll come."
