Coventry City U21 coach Lee Glover has said that his side put in a fantastic performance to draw 1-1 at at Bolton Wanderers last night.

Speaking about the point which was City's fifth since Glover took over, he told Keiran Crowley: "It was a fantastic performance and I feel for the lads tonight as they fully deserved the three points.

"We created plenty of openings and chances but couldn't quite find the finishing touch. I felt we offered so much of an attacking threat in the final third of the pitch, from all sides.

"Kyle Spence and Devon have really tested their full-backs all night and got the crosses in. Bassala Sambou has had a difficult night really as he has made all the right runs but sometimes he was just offside. On another night, he could have scored three.

"There were plenty of good performances across the pitch though and it's been great to see Jack Finch and Ben Stevenson come back into the fold and really add to the side."
