Parking is not permitted on the nearby retail park for people attending the match. The club ask that supporters are considerate when parking their vehicles, minimising inconvenience to local residents. We encourage supporters to travel to the game by car to share their journey with friends and family to reduce the number of vehicles arriving at the stadium, allowing everyone to have an easier journey home from the ground.

Banks's Stadium is well served by buses. All buses leave from the Bradford Place Bus Station. Service numbers 401 and 45 run every 15 minutes and stop on Bescot Crescent outside the ground. The 404 service runs every eight minutes and stops on West Bromwich Road a short walk from the ground.

TRAVEL

Coventry City supporters planning on watching the Sky Blues at Gillingham on January 17th are advised that you can no longer pay at the toll booths to use the Dartford Crossing.

To use the Dartford crossing, you need to pay in advance to a new payment scheme called Dart Charge.

You must pay for a crossing in advance or by midnight the day after crossing. You can do this using a pre-pay account, which saves you up to a third on every crossing, or by making a one-off payment.

You can make a one-off payment:

You can avoid the bridge/tunnel and the £2.50 each way charge altogether, by taking the M1 to junction 6A and then taking the M11, onto the A406 S and then the A13 / Newham Way. After 3.5miles, take the sliproad left to A102 / Blackwall Tunnel Northern Approach towards Isle of Dogs / Canary Wharf / C London  and then on to the A2. At junction 1, take sliproad left to A289 towards Grain / Gillingham and follow to Gillingham.

By Road from the South :

Exit the M2 at junction 4 onto the A278. Follow signs for Gillingham driving over two roundabouts before taking the first exit off the third roundabout onto the A2. Continue until you come to the next roundabout (Premier Inn to your left) and take the third exit onto the A289. At the first roundabout take the first exit onto Cornwallis Avenue. Continue along Cornwallis Avenue over the traffic lights before turning right into Toronto Road. Take the second left off Toronto into Redfern Avenue, where you will see the Priestfield Stadium on your left.

By Road from the North:

Exit A2 at junction 1 (M2) onto the A289. Follow signs for Medway Tunnel. After about three miles take the second exit off the roundabout, again following signs towards Medway Tunnel. At the next roundabout take the first exit. At the next roundabout take the first exit into the Tunnel. On exit follow the A289 over two sets of traffic lights before coming to the Strand roundabout. Take the third exit onto Church Street. Drive up the hill and continue over the level crossing. Take the second left after the crossing and follow Linden Drive to the end. Turn right into Redfern Avenue, where you will see the MEMS Priestfield Stadium on your right.

By Rail:

Visiting supporters can take advantage of four trains per hour, all departing from Victoria Station (London). There are two fast trains, which complete the journey in 50 minutes departing at five past the hour and 25 minutes to the hour. Two slower trains leave Victoria at 10 past the hour and 20 to the hour - these taking the slightly longer time of one hour and 10 minutes to complete the journey to Gillingham.

From Charing Cross supporters will find two trains per hour departing at 27 minutes past the hour and three minutes to the hour, trains from Charing Cross complete the journey to Gillingham in one hour and 10 minutes.

On leaving Gillingham station turn left on to Balmoral Road. Walk for about five minutes down Balmoral Road until you come to the end. Straight opposite Balmoral Road you will see Priestfield Road. The away turnstiles are located at the top of Priestfield Road. The walk from the station should take no longer than 10 minutes.

Parking:

This is restricted to roads surrounding the Stadium but visiting supporters should note that the following roads are restricted to permit holders only. A list of roads to avoid are as follows: Balmoral Road, Windsor Road, Ferndale Road, Linden Avenue, Priestfield Road, Gordon Road, Livingstone Road, Coulman Street, Beaconsfield Avenue, Harold Avenue, School Lane, Toronto Road, Redfern Avenue and parts of Sunnymead Avenue.

Traffic Wardens can be found in numbers on matchdays so it is strongly recommended you choose alternative parking areas. Suggested alternatives include: Furthest part of Sunnymead Avenue, Chicago Avenue, Canadian Avenue, Valley Road, Sturdee Avenue, Woodlands Road, Carlton Avenue, Alexandra Avenue, Larkfield Avenue, Third Avenue and Fourth Avenue.

Visiting Supporters Coaches:

All coaches should set down supporters at the Cronings Yard car park which is situated in Railway Street. It is a five-minute walk from here back along Gillingham Road to the away supporters entrance at the Priestfield Road Turnstile.

***To ensure supporters' safety please do not attempt to set down or pick up supporters from Redfern Avenue***

YEOVIL TOWN V COVENTRY CITY
SATURDAY JANUARY 24TH AT 3PM  (Subject to FA Cup)
AT HUISH PARK, LUFTON WAY, YEOVIL, BA22 8YF

TRAVEL

One alternative for those travelling from Coventry, the West Midlands and the north, is to take the A429 from Warwick to Chippenham, then take A350 to Warminster, then the A36, A303 and A37 to Yeovil.

Directions:
From the Midlands and North
Take the M5 south to junction 25 (Taunton). Take the A358 signposted Ilminster until joining the A303 at Horton Cross. Continue along the A303 in an easterly direction which is signposted Andover and London until the Cartgate roundabout and then take the A3088 which is signposted Yeovil.

At the first roundabout, turn left; at the second roundabout go straight on (past the Crematorium) then at the third island, take the first exit again at the Asda roundabout into Lufton Way. The main entrance to the stadium is approx. half a mile along on the right

From London and the Home Counties
Take the M3 and the A303 until the Cartgate roundabout, junction with A3088 sign-posted for Yeovil. At first roundabout take the first exit along Bunford Lane, go straight over the next roundabout and take the first exit - again the Western Avenue roundabout into Lufton Way.

From the South via A30
Take the A30 into Yeovil until the Kingston roundabout, and then follow signs for Taunton (A358) along Preston Road to roundabout at Western Avenue.

From the West Country via the A30
Take the A30 into Yeovil, at the first roundabout in West Coker Road take the first exit. At the bottom of the hill, take the first exit again at the roundabout, the second exit at the following roundabout and then straight over the next. This will lead you to the Western Avenue roundabout. Take the first exit at this roundabout into Lufton Way and the stadium is on the right hand side.

Car Parking at the ground - £2

By Train
Yeovil has two railway stations; Yeovil Junction and Pen Mill Junction. Both of these stations are located quite a distance from the ground, with Pen Mill Junction just under three miles away and Yeovil Junction almost five miles away. From both stations it is advised to get a taxi to the stadium or alternatively if you arrive at Yeovil Junction, then you can catch the ‘Hopper’ minibus to the bus station in the town centre.

'Bus No.68 runs from both Yeovil Junction & Yeovil Pen Mill stations to the town centre. You can then take the regular First Traveller No.1 service (every 15 minutes), which drops you near the stadium at the Abbey Manor Park Housing Estate. The No.68 connects with the No.1 at the Lloyds TSB Bank, located on the town centre High Street (make sure you catch the No.1 with 'Abbey Manor Park' on the front). Just a few yards away from this changing point is the Mermaid pub which I can recommend for excellent food and beer. Anybody coming in by rail can buy a "Plus Bus" ticket with their rail ticket for an additional £2.80 which is valid on both the 68 and 1 services'. For bus timetables see the First Traveller website.
