YORK CITY V COVENTRY CITY 
TUESDAY OCTOBER 9TH AT 7.45PM JPT2
AT BOOTHAM CRESCENT, YORK, YO30 7AQ

FROM THE SOUTH (A64): 
Exit A64 at signpost York North A1237, Harrogate A59. At the 1st roundabout go straight on (signposted York North, Harrogate) onto the A1237. Stay on A1237 for approximately 5 miles, over 3 roundabouts and over the River Ouse. At the 4th roundabout, turn right (signposted York Centre A19) onto Shipton Road, follow for approximately 1.5 miles and at the lights by the village green go straight on (signposted City Centre). After half a mile turn left by the Burton Stone Pub onto Burton Stone Lane, take the 1st right onto Grosvenor Road and follow to the ground.

FROM THE NORTH (A19): 
Follow the A19 until you reach the A1237 roundabout. Take the 2nd exit (signposted York Centre A19) onto Shipton Road and then follow direction as from the south.

FROM THE EAST: 
Exit A64 at signpost York A1036, Thirsk, Harrogate A1237. Continue on the A1237 for 3.5 miles to the 6th roundabout. Turn left (signpost York B1363) onto Wiggington Road, carry straight on for 1.5 miles, passing Nestlé factory on the left, turn right at the lights onto Crichton Avenue. Over the bridge, take 1st left onto Burton Stone Lane and then the 5th road on the left, Grosvenor Road and follow to the ground.

QUICK ROUTE 
(MISSING OUT THE CITY CENTRE): 
Turn left outside the railway station walking along Station Road to the Traffic lights turn left and walk along Leeman Road for about 100 yards until you reach the railway bridge. Cross over the road keeping the Royal Mail Sorting office to your right and walk down the small alleyway which brings you to the River. Cross the river via the footbridge and then keeping the river to your right turn immediately left following the footpath along the side of Marygate car park. Follow this footpath for about 300 yards - it takes you underneath the railway line - Immediately after passing under the railway turn right into Bootham Terrace walk up the road the railway will be on your right.

At the main road Junction (Bootham) turn immediately left and walk for approximately 50 yards. Bootham Crescent is the next turning on your right walk down Bootham Crescent and the Football ground is immediately in front of you with the away terracing to the left and the main stand / club shop etc situated in the car park in front.

Walking time approximately 15 - 20 minutes.

LONGER ROUTE 
(SCENIC ROUTE VIA CITY CENTRE:) 
Turn left outside the railway station walking along Station Road keeping the City walls to your right. Cross over Leeman Road (at traffic lights) and continue onward underneath the City walls, bear left at the traffic Lights along Museum Street crossing the river, continue on (York Minster is in front) turn left before reaching the Minster into St Leonard's Place continue along with the Theatre Royal on your right until you reach the traffic lights (by the art gallery). Turn left into Bootham and walk along Bootham for approximately a quarter of a mile Bootham Crescent is on the right hand side. Cross the road at the Pelican crossing walk down Bootham Crescent and the Football ground is immediately in front of you with the away Terracing to the left and the Main stand / club shop etc situated in the car park in front.

Walking time approximately 20 - 25 minutes.

SWINDON TOWN V COVENTRY CITY

Travelling from the East and West:
Leave the M4 at Junction 15. Take the Commonhead Roundabout. Turn left onto the A4259 Marlborough Road.

Take the 2nd exit at the roundabout onto Queens Drive. At the next set of roundabouts take the 3rd exit onto County Road the entrance to the ground is on the first right.

Travelling from the Midlands:

Take the M40 to Junction 9. Then take the A43, A34 and then the A420 into Swindon.

At Drakes' Roundabout turn onto Queen's Drive. At the next set of roundabouts take 3rd exit onto County Road, the entrance to the stadium is the first right.

Travelling by train:

From the front of the station turn left onto Station Road. Facing the White House pub, head right onto Corporation Street.

At the traffic lights turn left onto Manchester Road. At the end of Manchester Road turn right onto County Road. The entrance to the stadium is the second left. This walk should take approx 10 minutes.

Parking:
There are limited spaces available at the County Ground, but there are several Town centre car park situated 1 / 2 miles from the stadium. There is nearby street parking and several match day car parks.

From All Routes

Outside M25: Exit M25 at junction 15 (s/p M4, Heathrow Terminals 1,2 & 3, London (W)) onto the M4 eastbound. After 8.3 miles exit M4 at junction 2 (s/p A4, N and S Circular A406 (A205), Chiswick A315), onto slip road down onto the A4, which runs underneath, and parallel to, the M4. At Chiswick Roundabout after 0.7 miles, there's a choice of directions:

a) To the main parking area: go right round the roundabout and head back up the A4 (s/p The West, Heathrow A4, M4). Keep in the right-hand lane (s/p Staines, Hounslow A4) and go straight on for 1.5 miles, to junction/lights. Here, turn left (s/p Brentford A3002) into Boston Manor Road. Somerset Road, which leads to one of the best parking areas, is on the RHS after 1.0 miles.

b) To the ground:

Take 4th exit (s/p S. Circular A205, A316, M3 Richmond) onto Chiswick High Road/Kew Bridge Road. Straight on for 0.3 miles to junction/lights (Kew Bridge Junction). Here, keep in lane for the A315 and go straight on (s/p Hounslow, Brentford A315), towards `The Plough'. At lights after 0.5 miles turn right (by McDonalds) into Ealing Road, which runs past Griffin Park. The ground is on Braemar Road, the second turning on your left.

From South London (for directions to Kew Bridge see the London Guide):

Over Kew Bridge to the Kew Bridge Junction. Here turn left (s/p Hounslow, Brentford A315) into Kew Bridge Road. At lights after 0.5 miles turn right (by McDonalds) into Ealing Road.

FROM RAILWAY STATIONS:

a) Brentford: South West Trains run from Waterloo and Vauxhall to Reading via Brentford. By foot: Head up to the main road and turn left. Take first main left turn into Windmill Road, and first right (s/p Methodist Church) into Clifden Road. The Stadium is then directly ahead of you.

b) Kew Bridge: This station is on the same line as Brentford station, but is closer to `The Plough', `The Waggon and Horses', and the Strand-on-the-Green. It's 0.4 miles to the ground: take steps up from platforms to main exit and turn right. Keep going for 0.3 miles, then turn right by McDonalds into Ealing Road.

FROM UNDERGROUND STATIONS:

Gunnersbury (District Line, Zone 3):

1.3 miles to ground. By foot: Exit station into Chiswick High Road and turn left. After 0.3 miles, at Chiswick Roundabout, take 2nd exit (s/p S. Circular A205) into Chiswick High Road, which becomes Kew Bridge Road. Then as by car From All Routes (*).

South Ealing (Piccadilly Line, Zone 3):

By foot: Exit right from station and walk down Ealing Road to ground (twenty-five minutes walk - or catch 65 bus).

BY BUS:

The E8 is a frequent service from Hanwell along Boston Manor Road, while the E2 runs from West Ealing along Windmill Road. The no. 65 runs from south of the river, over Kew Bridge. Nos. 237, 267 and H29 run along Kew Bridge Road. The main night bus is the N97, Brentford High Street to either Central London or Heathrow Airport.

GETTING TO THE GROUND

BY TRAIN:
The nearest tube station is Leyton on the Central Line or Leyton Midland Road overground.

From Leyton Station, turn right down the hill and follow the High Road to Coronation Gardens on your left. Turn down Buckingham Road after the park and the ground is in front of you.

From Leyton Midland Road, turn left towards Leyton and continue down the High Road past Leyton County Cricket Ground until you reach Windsor Road. Turn down Windsor Road and the ground is in front of you.

BY CAR:
From North: Exit M25 at junction 27 and follow signs to `London (NE), M11' onto the M11 southbound.

After 7.1 miles where the road divides, bear right (s/p A406 N. Circ. Rd West, London N and W) onto the North Circular Road.

Keep in left hand lanes and take first exit after 0.6 miles (s/p Walthamstow and City A104, then Whipps Cross A104, West End (A503)).

At roundabout turn left (s/p Whipps Cross, Bakers Arms, Walthamstow A503) into Woodford New Road A104. At next roundabout (Whipps Cross) after 1.2 miles, take 2nd exit (s/p A104 Bakers Arms, Leyton) and follow road round to left, towards BP station, into Lea Bridge Road.

After 0.5 miles, just after Esso station, turn left at lights (s/p Leyton, Stratford, then Leyton Leisure Lagoon) into Leyton Green Road.

Filter left after 0.3 miles and turn left at T-junction into Leyton High Road. After 1.2 miles ground is down sidestreets on RHS.

From South/South-East via Blackwall Tunnel: Out of tunnel, continue on A102 following signs to `Stratford, Dalston'. Remain on the A102/A106 for 4.2 miles, following signs for Leyton, passing New Spitalfields Market and over a bridge.

At lights just after Car Superstore, turn left into Oliver Road.

BY BUS:

Nos. 58, 69, 97 and 158 run along Leyton High Road.
