Dartford Crossing Charges For Gillingham Away

Last updated : 20 March 2016 By CNS Staff

Coventry City supporters planning on watching the Sky Blues at Gillingham on April 2nd are advised that you can no longer pay at the toll booths to use the Dartford Crossing.

To use the Dartford crossing, you need to pay in advance to a new payment scheme called Dart Charge.

You must pay for a crossing in advance or by midnight the day after crossing. You can do this using a pre-pay account, which saves you up to a third on every crossing, or by making a one-off payment.

You can make a one-off payment:

You can avoid the bridge/tunnel and the £2.50 each way charge altogether, by taking the M1 to junction 6A and then taking the M11, onto the A406 S and then the A13 / Newham Way. After 3.5miles, take the sliproad left to A102 / Blackwall Tunnel Northern Approach towards Isle of Dogs / Canary Wharf / C London  and then on to the A2. At junction 1, take sliproad left to A289 towards Grain / Gillingham and follow to Gillingham.
