City To Refund Oldham Fans Who Missed The Game

Coventry City will be refunding Oldham Athletic fans who did not make the game at the Ricoh Arena on Tuesday night.

The M6 was blocked in both directions thanks to an individual on a bridge over the motorway at Corley Services and a number of fans either did not get to the game at all or only saw some of it including the likes of City supporter from the Manchester area Paul Knowles who only saw twelve minutes of normal time plus the six minutes of stoppage time.

Oldham have issued the following statement:

"As a gesture from Coventry City, refunds are available for those fans who bought tickets in advance for tonight's game from Oldham Athletic Football Club and did not make it to the game.

Please present your complete ticket to the ticket office to claim your refund."

Coventry City have not yet said what City supporters should do but we imagine that the same principle would apply.
