According to thetrainline.com and London Midland's website, now that the train station at the Ricoh Arena has finally opened, some of you who live in Nuneaton and Bedworth might find it easier to travel by train to Coventry City matches.

The trainline.com and other travel websites are saying that you can travel on the 13.14 or 14.14 from Nuneaton and arrive at the Coventry Arena Station, at 13.27 or 14.27 for Saturday games.

Provided you don't mind going into the casino etc for a drink after the game, there is a train back to Nuneaton at 17.49 which gets into Nuneaton at 18.04

An off peak day return costs £3.60 for an adult and as the station is unmanned, you are advised to book tickets in advance.

From Coventry Station, there is a train at 13.42 which arrives at Coventry Arena at 13.49 and a train at 17.28 which arrives at 17.36 with an off peak day return priced at £2.40.

All trains are expected to be the current two carriage long trains which are currently used on this route, so numbers accepted on these trains will be limited to 75 people.
