Crewe Police are advising Coventry City supporters who do not have a ticket for Saturday's game at Crewe Alexandra to get a ticket when they arrive in Crewe.
The police are advising City supporters to get a ticket before going down the pub, chip shop etc to prevent queues at kick off time.
There is no increase in tickets bought on the day.
