Coventry City working with the Ricoh Arena are to bring in measures to try and improve.

The club will not have access to five tills from which they can sell tickets and tickets can now be bought or collected from 9.30am on a matchday or weekends.

City have also said that they will employ more matchday staff and open the turnstiles earlier.

City's CEO Steve Waggott said: "We knew we had to act quickly after the pre-match situation against Crewe Alexandra and I believe we've found the solutions to the problems we faced.

"We met with Ricoh Arena staff yesterday who were determined to help us solve the issues and we're delighted to now have access to Ricoh Arena ticket office facilities on a match-day.

"We'll also be announcing more improvements to our non-matchday ticketing service soon."
