City Reduce Prices For Final Home Game

Coventry City are looking to bolster the Sky Blue Army for the vital final home game of the season by cutting ticket prices to £10 for adults.

Prices for concessions and juniors will be £5 for the match against Crewe Alexandra on Saturday, April 25. JSBs will be £3 in the Family Zone, £4 in Standard Zone and £5 in Premium Zone, while JSB under-12s are free in the Family Zone, £2 in Standard Zone and £3 in Premium Zone.

We're hoping it will help to attract more supporters to support the team in the crucial game and build on the atmosphere created during the 1-1 draw against Oldham Athletic.

Chief executive Steve Waggott said: “Tony Mowbray said on Tuesday night what a big part the crowd played in our performance and the atmosphere in the second half was fantastic – the fans really stuck by the team.

“The players fed off that and in the end they got the goal they deserved and we could have even gone on to win it. We know the Crewe game is going to be vital whatever happens this weekend so we want to get as many supporters to the final home game as possible. We’ve decided to cut ticket prices for the match and it would be fantastic to get as much backing as possible for Tony Mowbray and the team."

“And if the players and the supporters can bounce off each other as they did on Tuesday night it can only help us in achieving the right result. Securing our League One status is what everyone is focused on and, once that happens, we can start to build for next season.”

Tickets are now on sale via online at www.ccfcshop.co.uk, at the Superstore at the Gallagher Retail Park and over the phone on 024 7699 2332 or 024 7699 2326.

A corporate ticket package is also available with adult tickets priced at £20 and juniors £5. For this, you get seating on the E.ON balcony, access to a lounge & cash bar, programme and teamsheet. This can be booked on 024 7699 2329.

Waggott added: “We are hoping for a positive response and would, therefore, encourage fans to buy early to avoid possible queues for tickets later on next week. Tony Mowbray praised the supporters straight after the game and described them as the 12th man for the team. We could definitely do with that again for the Crewe game.”
