City Match Ticket Packages

Coventry City have launched an initiative to enable supporters without season tickets to plan ahead throughout the new campaign.

Currently, fans wanting to go to a match at the Ricoh Arena can only buy tickets up to three weeks beforehand.

Now, the club have tickets on sale for every home game of the complete 2009/10 campaign to allow those without season tickets to secure tickets for matches they want to attend.

Stephen Ebanks, ticketing manager at Coventry City, said this would give supporters the chance to plan ahead.

"We have put the whole of the 2009/10 season on sale for supporters buying tickets on a match by match basis," he said.

"For example, if someone knows that they and a group of friends want to go to the Newcastle game on December 8 then they can buy their tickets now, or if they know they are available to go to all three home games in March then they can snap up their tickets instead of waiting until next year.

"Since everyone has such busy lifestyles or special occasions when they and their family or friends get together, this will allow them to sort out their City tickets weeks or months in advance.

"Fans have the opportunity of not being restricted when they can buy their tickets and will prevent thousands of people only have a short space of time to get tickets for a game they want to attend.

"If for any reason the date and time of a fixture changes and supporters are then unable to come along then we will of course offer full refunds."

Tickets can be bought via www.ccfc.co.uk , the ticket office on 0844 873 1883 (option two) or by visiting the CCFC ticket office at the Ricoh Arena or in the city centre at the Coventry Transport Museum or the Tourist Information Centre within St Michael's Cathedral.

The club has also released two multi-match packages to save supporters money.

Package A, costing from £96, includes City's games against Middlesbrough, Leicester City, West Bromwich Albion, Reading, Newcastle United and Derby County.

Package B, starting from £75, contains the midweek matches against Sheffield United, Newcastle United, Doncaster Rovers, Cardiff City and Watford.

Stephen added: "The first package is aimed at fans who want to come along to City's high-profile matches and the second package has been put together for those who work on Saturdays and can only come to midweek games.

"This is a cost effective way for those who don't have season tickets to buy tickets for a cluster of games they definitely want to see."
