Coventry City have issued the following statement for those season ticket holders who pay by Direct Debit.

"City season ticket holders who pay by Direct Debit may need to check their payments ahead of the Sky Blues' home Championship clash with Preston North End on Saturday, September 13.

A certain number of instalments, paid via Direct Debit, have been rejected and as such the season tickets of those fans affected will be suspended until the relevant payments have been received by the club.

Letters are currently being sent out to fans to inform them of outstanding payments for their 2008/09 season ticket.

Please note that if your Direct Debit payment has been rejected you will need to rectify this before the weekend and collect a paper ticket from the ticket office to get into the Ricoh Arena for the game against Preston this Saturday. Season tickets will then be re-activated for the following home match against QPR.

For further information call the club's ticket office on 0870 421 1987 (option 1).
