The reason being cited is due to an upgrade in technology with City's Ticketing Manager Stephen Ebanks telling the CT; "The decision to transfer all our ticketing activity to our official outlets hasn't been easy and we are grateful for the excellent service CV One have provided to our fans over the past few years.
"However, the hi-tech nature of the new ticketing system which will deliver real benefit to Coventry City fans means it would be impossible to retain the ticketing service at the Tourist Information Centre.
"With tickets available both from City Central and the Ricoh Arena as well as on-line, we are hopeful that Coventry City fans will find that they have convenient access to match day tickets."
