Coventry City CEO Steve Waggott has admitted that the club have a lot of work to do, in order to get the season ticket figures up to the six thousand they require.
Selling six thousand season tickets will allow City to put a competitive team on the pitch but currently, they are a way off achieving that total.
Speaking to Keiran Crowley, Mr Waggott said: "Our model centred around making football more affordable for our supporters and it appears to be working.
"However, there is a lot of work to be done to reach our target of 6,000 and whilst it has been great to see so many City fans purchase a season ticket either for the first time, or come back to us after a year or so away, we also need to retain our existing fanbase which will help this club achieve a brighter future."
