TRAVEL
Directions
At the end of the M54 continue onto the A5. After about seven miles, there is a traffic island which is at the junction with the A49. Bear left at this island still following the A5.
On reaching Shrewsbury ignore the signs for Shrewsbury Town Centre (signposted A5064 town centre/crematorium), at the first roundabout you come to, but instead continue along the A5. Then go straight across at the next roundabout, still on the A5 and then at the next roundabout turn right towards Shrewsbury on the A5112 (sign posted town centre/park & ride). You will pass a Retail Park on your right and then at the next roundabout you take the 4th exit onto the B4380 towards Oteley (also sign posted golf course). The stadium is a short way down this road on the right, just as you go over the railway bridge.
There is a large car park at the stadium.
Shrewsbury train station is around two miles away from the stadium. So it should take around 25 minutes to walk. Otherwise you can grab a taxi up to the ground, or take a bus from the town centre bus station (service numbers 16, 23, 25 & 544/546 all stop near to the stadium).
Shrewsbury train station is served by trains from Birmingham New Street & Crewe.
Buses will run from Harlescott Park and Ride Site and The Shirehall starting at 18.15 and then every 15 minutes until 19.15. Adult fare is £2.50 return. CHILDREN (UNDER 16 - I.D. MAY BE REQUESTED) ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT WILL BE CHARGED £1 RETURN.
