This will be the 101st meeting of the two sides. Coventry have won on forty one occasions with twenty five draws. The Sky Blues have scored 170 goals compared to QPR's 131.

The first game against QPR in a Football League game was on September 4th 1926 when the game finished in a 1-1 draw in London.

The corresponding fixture last season saw a 1-0 win for City with Dele Adebola scoring the only goal of the game, although the last game between the two sides saw QPR win 1-0 at the Ricoh Arena on April 7th.
