By Air: Only 9 miles from Prestwick Airport (Suitable if you are flying from Bournemouth,Dublin or Stansted) and 22 miles from Glasgow Airport for flights from Birmingham and East Midlands. You will need to stay over night for both Birmingham and East Midlands flights.

By Rail: Less than 1 mile from Kilmarnock train station (Change at Glasgow). Engineering works and replacement buses will really delay your journey and if you have to travel by train, then go on Friday and come back on Sunday.

M6 to M74 leave at junction 8 and follow the A71 to Kilmarnock At roundabout take 3rd exit (Kilmarnock Town Centre, Ayrshire Conference & Banqueting Centre) onto Dundonald Road. Continue to Mini roundabout, take 1st left (Kilmarnock Town Centre, Ayrshire Conference & Banqueting Centre) onto Dundonald Road. Entrance to Park Hotel on left hand side after one mile.
M6 to A74, then A75 to Dumfries and A76 to Kilmarnock.

From Glasgow
A77, Take exit off motorway signposted Hurlford after New Farm Loch Interchange. Take 4th exit off roundabout, Continue to next roundabout take 1st left, follow signs for Ayrshire Conference & Banqueting Centre, Continue to Mini roundabout, take 1st left (Kilmarnock Town Centre, Ayrshire Conference & Banqueting Centre) onto Dundonald Road. THE LAST TIME
The last time City visited Kilmarnock was in the pre-season of 1991. Killie hosted a four team tournament featuring City,Rangers and Sparta Rotterdam.

City lost on penalties to Rangers after a 1-1 draw with Paul Furlong scoring for the Sky Blues. On the Sunday, City lost 2-1 to Sparta Rotterdam in the 3rd place play-off. Peter Billing scored for the Sky Blues.
