By Road:
Take the A12 to big roundabout (by Tesco) on A14 junction. Take 2nd exit (sign posted Ipswich West A1214) into London Road. Follow Ipswich A1214 signs for 2 1/2 miles, straight over roundabout to junction at bottom of hill. Go straight on to the next set of traffic lights. Turn right and follow the signs to the ground.

Parking
Street parking in the immediate vicinity of the stadium is problematic. However there are plenty of Pay and Display car parks within walking distance of Portman Road. In any case the ground is within easy walking distance of the town centre.

By Rail
Ipswich station is about a 5 minute walk from the ground. Go straight out of the station, over the bridge and past two sets of traffic lights, then turn left into Portman Road. Trains leave London Liverpool Street station for Ipswich every 15 minutes.

ADMISSION
Tickets are priced at £31 for adults and £22 for senior citizens, young people aged between 16-19 and students with a valid NUS card. Tickets are £11 for children aged 16 or under.

THE LAST TIME
This is the 79th league and cup meeting of the two sides. City have won 21 matches and drawn 22 , scoring 93 goals compared to Ipswich's 118.

On the opening day of the season, a brace from Clinton Morrison gave City a 2-1 victory at the Ricoh Arena but you have to go back to Easter Monday 1994 for the last win.when Jon Williams was amongst the goals in a 2-0 victory for the Sky Blues.

Last season, City went down to a 2-1 defeat at Portman Road.

MATCH OFFICIALS
The currently appointed referee for Coventry City's Championship game at Ipswich is Michael Oliver.

The Northumberland based referee started refereeing in the Morpeth Sunday League aged 14 and eight years later was on the National Referees List in 2007.

His last match was Bolton's 4-0 win over Lincoln City in the FA Cup on January 2nd. He has had 19 matches this season, which included City's 1-1 draw with Leicester and has shown 54 yellow cards and three red.

Assistants are Harry Lennard from East Sussex & Marvin Thompson from Middlesex . The Fourth Official is John Magill from Essex.
