TRAVEL
Crewe Alexandra Football Club can be accessed by two junctions off the M6, but please note that it is easier to get here by leaving at junction 16.

Exit the M6 and follow signs for Crewe on the A500 and then the A5020, at the roundabout take the 3rd exit and continue to the next roundabout, take the first exit continuing to follow signs for Crewe Town Centre and Crewe Railway Station.

Pass Crewe Hall on your right, and at the next roundabout continue forward down Weston Road. Away supporters parking can be found on the industrial estate on Weston Road, this is approximately a ten minute walk to the ground. If you continue down to the roundabout this will take you towards the ground, take the first left at the roundabout and continue past the train station. Take the second left down Gresty Road and continue down to the junction and the ground is on your left.

THE LAST TIME
This is the 19th game between Crewe Alexandra and Coventry City. The Sky Blues have won nine and draw four, scoring 38 goals to Crewe's 23.

This will be City's ninth visit to Gresty Road. They have only won once, back in February 2002 when they won 6-1. The Sky Blues have managed three draws.

The last time the sides met was in Mar 25th 2006 when City went down to a 4-1 defeat at Gresty Road. Stern John scored for Coventry.

MATCH OFFICIALS
The currently appointed referee for Coventry City's League One game at Crewe Alexandra is Andy Woolmer from Northamptonshire.

A postman by trade, he has started refereeing at sixteen and worked his way through the United Counties League and the Southern league before becoming a National List referee in 2004. He had been an assistant referee for ten years including four on the Select Group.

His last City game was the 1-1 draw at Burnley last season and he also was in charge of the 2-2 draw with Blackpool at the Ricoh Arena this season. Other City games he has officiated at are the 1-0 pre-season win at Northampton on July 21st 2010 and before that the 3-0 defeat at Reading on April 5th 2010, the 1-1 draw at Palace on Sept 18th 2007 and the 2-1 win at Hull City in Jan 2006.
