​Club Coaches - Coaches Departs White Street Car Park at 10.30am and costs £17.

BY Car 

Some satellite navigation equipment may not register the new home of Colchester United at the Weston Homes Community Stadium and its postcode of CO4 5UP.​

Coventry City supporters travelling to the Sky Blues League One fixture are advised to use the CO4 5JS, which is the nearby Rapid Electronics factory.​

City supporters travelling from Coventry, Warwickshire and the West Midlands are advised to Leave the A14 and then join the M11. Come off the M11 at J8 (Stansted Airport/A120) and follow the A120towards Braintree & Colchester. The A120 then joins the A12 and after passing the stadium on your right, leave the A12 at Junction 28. Turn left at the first roundabout, the turn right into United Way from the second roundabout.

From the south (Ipswich bound carriageway)

To access the stadium from the south, turn off at Junction 28, turning right at the first roundabout. Go across the bridge and then go straight over the second roundabout, before turning right into United Way from the third roundabout. You are now at the stadium.​

From the north (London bound carriageway)

To access the stadium from the north, turn off at Junction 28, turning left at the first roundabout. Turn right into United Way from the second roundabout. You are now at the stadium.​

ALTERNATIVE ACCESS

Alternatively, you can come off the A12 at the next junction and take a left onto the A1232. When at the top of this road, bear right back over the A12 towards the traffic lights with the BMW Garage on your left.​

Go straight over and up Ipswich Road. At the next set of traffic lights, turn right onto Severalls Lane (signposted just previously for Colchester Cattle Market). Follow this road to its conclusion, where you will pick up signs for the stadium.​

Please note that if you are travelling to the stadium for a first team match, then travel restrictions apply around the stadium on a matchday.​

1a - Matchday Car Park Permits​

Please note that there is only limited car parking at the stadium itself, with just under 700 spaces in the main stadium car park.​

1b - Parking Exclusion Zone​

Both Colchester United and visiting supporters should be aware that the immediate area around the Weston Homes Community Stadium is subject to a Parking Exclusion Zone on matchdays.​

Covering both existing Clearways and also nearby residential areas, these roads will be marshalled by Colchester United and Essex Police to prevent parking on roads not permitted under the Stadium Travel Plan.

1c - Parking in Colchester

Fans coming by car are able to park in town centre car parks, paying the required fee, before joining up with the Matchday Travel Service.​

There are numerous town centre car parks, whilst there is also an extensive pay car park at Colchester Train Station.​

If parking in a town centre car park, visiting fans can use their match ticket (if purchased in advance) to buy a Matchday Rover on the number 65 bus on Head Street for £1.50 to the train station (a five to ten minute journey), where they can then link up with the shuttle bus service.​

There are shuttle buses from Colchester North Train Station which is about two miles away.​

MATCH OFFICIALS

​The currently appointed referee for Coventry City's League One game at Colchester United on Saturday is Trevor Kettle from Rutland.​

Mr Kettle, is no stranger to Coventry City. The RAF Air Traffic Controllor refereed a number of reserve team matches, sometimes controversially on his way up onto the National List which he joined in 2003.​

Mr Kettle's last City first team game was the 2-1 win against Gillingham earlier this season.​

Other City matches he has been in charge of are: the 4-0 loss at Walsall on April 1st 2013, the 3-1 victory at Colchester United in November 2012, the 2-2 draw at Vicarage Road, Watford in August 2010 when he had to go off injured after 67 minutes, the 0-0 draw with Reading at the Ricoh Arena on April 4th 2009 in which he cautioned seven players, the 2-1 defeat at Sheffield United on March 11th 2008 (7 cautioned again), the 4-1 defeat at Ipswich on September 22nd 2007 (3 cautioned), the 3-0 defeat at Birmingham on April 1st 2007 (2 cautioned), the 3-1 win over Cardiff on April 30th 2006 (3 cautioned), the 4-0 defeat at Watford on Feb 11th 2006 (5 cautioned), the 2-2 at Ipswich on October 18th 2005 (3 cautioned), the 1-1 home draw with Ipswich Town on January 31st 2004 (4 cautioned).​

This season, Mr Kettle has had 23 matches and shown 81 yellow cards and two reds.​

His Assistants are Carl Fitfh and Oleksandr Saliy. The Fourth Official is Robert Hyde.​
