TRAVEL

​Club Coaches - Coaches Departs White Street Car Park at 4pm and costs £14.

By Road Leave the M5 motorway at junction 18, travel along the Portway (A4) following the signs for Bristol Airport/Taunton (A38). Over the swing bridge (Brunel Way), branching left into Winterstoke Road, and left again at Cruickshanks Mercedes Garage for Ashton Gate.

​Street parking is limited so please arrive early and adhere to parking restrictions.

​By Air Only ten minutes, by car from Bristol International Airport. Call 01275 474444 for flight times.

​By Rail Only five minutes by car from Bristol Temple Meads railway station. For information on train times please call the National Railway Enquiry Services on 08457 484950.

​By Bus Buses are supplied by Abus 'Service A' which costs a flat rate of 50p. The buses pick-up one hour before kick-off from the following places - Temple Meads, Old Market (Temple Way), Haymarket, Centre, Anchor Road, Hotwells. The buses return to all those destinations after the match, leaving from Ashton Road, by the Greville Smyth Park.

MATCH OFFICIALS

The currently appointed referee for Coventry City’s JPT Area Semi-Final At Bristol City is Stephen Martin.

Mr Martin has only refereed two competitive City game before and that was the 2-0 win against Colchester United on September 8th 2013 and the 2-2 home draw against Colchester United on March 12th 2013.

The only other City game he has refereed was the 1-0 win at Kettering Town in a pre-season friendly in 2011, although he has been on the line for a number of matches.

His assistants are Simon Barrow and Steven Rushton. The Fourth Official is Brendan Malone.

THE LAST TIME

The Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Area Semi-Final will be the 30th time that Coventry City have played away to Bristol City

City have had five wins and ten draws in the previous fwenty nine matches.

City’s biggest win away to Bristol City is two 2-0 wins in April 1922 and September 1934.The Sky Blues heaviest defeat at Ashton Gate was a 5-0 loss on Boxing Day 1978.

The Sky Blues’ last visit to Ashton Gate was on Tuesday Febraury 4th 2014 and saw a 2-1 win for the Sky Blues with Frank Moussa and Andy Webster giving City a two goals lead before Wes Burns scored a consolation goal in the 80th minute.
