By Car
Leave M1 at Junction 37 and follow the signs for Barnsley FC.

Barnsley railway station is about a ten minute walk away. This station is served by trains running between Sheffield & Leeds.

From the train station turn left away from the town centre and head towards the bridge that the dual-carriageway runs over. Go under the bridge and turn left up the slip road and then take the first road on the right and head towards the Metro Dome leisure complex at the top of the hill. Oakwell is now clearly visible.

ADMISSION
Tickets are priced at £22 for adults and £12 for Senior Citizens (Over 60) and those aged under 18.  Under 12's are priced at £6. There are no student or young adult discounts.

There are a limited number of wheelchair disabled tickets and ambulant disabled tickets available priced as above with personal assistants going free of charge.

The under 12's tickets must be purchased with an adult or senior. They can not be purchased individually or with an under 18. These tickets will only be booked via visitng the club shop at the Ricoh Arena or by calling 0844 873 1883 option 2.

Look after your match ticket as Barnsley will not accept responsibility for any lost or stolen tickets and will not issue duplicates.

THE LAST TIME
Bank Holiday Monday will be the 52nd time that Coventry City and Barnsley have met in league and cup matches. The Sky Blues have won on 25 occasions with 15 draws and have scored 90  goals compared to Barnsley's 63.

Oakwell has proved a lucky ground for the Sky Blues of late with four successive wins in the last four visits.  Last season, City went top of the league with a 2-0 victory thanks to goals from Leon Best and Clinton Morrison.

MATCH OFFICIALS
The currently appointed referee for Coventry City's Championship game at Barnsley on Monday is Carl  Boyeson from East Yorkshire.

The Central heating technician started refereeing in the Hull Sunday League in 1992. He was promoted to  the National List of assistant referees in 1996 after serving time officiating in the Northern Premier League and was promoted to the National List of referees in 2002.

He has had 14 matches so far this season including City's 2-1 home defeat to Preston North End back in September. He has shown 31 yellow and one red and this will be his fourth Championship game this season.

Previous City matches include: last season's 0-0 draw at Doncaster Rovers, the 0-0 home draw against Charlton in April 2009, the 1-0 defeat at Stoke in November 2006 and the 1-0 defeat at Bradford City in December 2003.

The Assistants are Simon Clayton from County Durham & Ian Dudley from Nottinghamshire.  The Fourth Official is Colin Harwood from Manchester.
