Parking: If the game is expected to attract less than 10,000 spectators then the Residental Parking Scheme may not be enforced.

City supporters can now pay on the day to park at the Ricoh Arena before Coventry City home games. £10 will be charged to park in Car Park A and C with £7 for Car Park B.  Getting your parking from the Ricoh Arena itself may see you treated better.

Parking places are subject to availability and motorists will not be allowed to leave the car parks A & B for twenty minutes after the final whistle.

The park and ride site is at The Oak Pub  in Baginton near to Coventry Airport. Parking at the two park and walk sites at Christ the King Football Club in Wheelwright Lane and St Finbarrs and Wayside Business Park in Wilsons Lane.  Vehicles can park there for £5.50 per game.

The Sky Blue Express return coach service is back for the new season. Leaving from Christ The King Club in Coundon to the Ricoh Arena for all home games. The coach leaves the club approximately 35mins prior to kick off and returns after the match.

THE LAST TIME
Coventry City will face Brentford for the  42nd time in the club's history.

This will be Brentford's first visit to the Ricoh Arena.  Of the 20 matches played in Coventry, City have won eleven and drawn six, scoring 31 goals to Brentford's 18.

The last time, Brentford played in Coventry for a league One (Div 3) game was on February 16th 1964 when the sides drew 2-2 at Highfield Road.

City's biggest home win over Brentford is a 3-1 win in January 1948 and City's biggest home loss is a 3-2 defeat on August 29th 1932.

MATCH OFFICIALS
The currently appointed referee for Coventry City's home League One game against Brentford is Scott Mathieson from Stockport.

Scott started refereeing after seeing  an advert in his local paper, inviting prospective Referees to join a course. A former Stockport County trialist, he progressed through the Mid-Cheshire and Northern Premier leagues and Conference and on to the League line in 1990. In 1994, he refereed his first Football League game when Carlisle United played Wigan Athletic.

His last City game was the 3-1 defeat at Bristol City last season and other City games that he has been in charge of are: the 4-1 win at Barnsley in August 2007, the 2-0 defeat at Sunderland in February 2007, the 2-2 at Burnley in October 2004 and the 2-1 home defeat to Preston in November 2002.

This season, Mr Mathieson has 33 matches (Six of which have been in League One) and shown 85 yellow cards and 8 reds.
