TEAM NEWS
Jay Tabb is doubtful after injuring his ankle against Scunthorpe. Said Dowie on Tabb's injury: "Tabby is a concern. He had to come off because his ankle has blown up like a balloon. "Jay is the best player you could hope to work with. He works very hard, he is technically very good and is important to us. "A couple of times we have asked him to play different roles and he has been prepared to help out."
Former City keeper Ian Bennett is out injured. Nick Montgomery could be added to Bryan Robson's squad which won 3-0 at Charlton on Tuesday night.
