TRAVEL
By car: Leave the M6 at junction 3. Take the A444 towards the City centre and at the first island go left and you will see the Ricoh Arena on your right.

By rail: For all train information call National Rail Enquiries on: 08457 48 49 50, but be warned Coventry station is a £10+ taxi ride away.

PARKING
Parking: Car parking is extremely restricted around the ground.

City supporters can now pay on the day to park at the Ricoh Arena before Coventry City home games. £10 will be charged to park in Car Park A and C with £7 for Car Park B.

Parking places are subject to availability and motorists will not be allowed to leave the car parks A & B for twenty minutes after the final whistle.

Park  And Ride
The park and ride site is at The Oak Pub  in Baginton near to Coventry Airport.

Parking at the two park and walk sites at Christ the King Football Club in Wheelwright Lane and St Finbarrs and Wayside Business Park in Wilsons Lane.  Vehicles can park there for £5.50 per game.

THE LAST TIME
This is the tenth league and cup match between the two sides. City have won four of those games and drawn twice. They have scored 20 goals compared to Scunthorpe's 10 .
 
City won 2-0 at Scunthorpe earlier in the season and the corresponding fixture last season, City beat Scunthorpe 2-1 with goals from Jon Stead and Sammy Clingan.

MATCH OFFICIALS
The currently appointed referee for Coventry City's Championship game against Scunthorpe on Friday is Anthony Bates from Staffordshire.

Mr Bates works in the pottery industry and is one of the longest serving referees on the list having been  qualified since 1983. He made it to the National List Of Assistant Referee in 1993 and onto the FIFA Assistant Referee list in 1996 where he was on the line for Euro 1996 matches.  When the next season started he was promoted to the National List of Referees.

Mr Bates has had 36 matches this season including City's 3-0 win over Barnsley. He has shown 94 yellow cards and four red and was the fourth official for City's FA Cup tie at Birmingham City.

Before that he was in charge of the following City matches: The 1-0 victory at Birmingham City on November 3rd 2008 and previous matches include the 3-2 home League Cup defeat to Newcastle in August 2008, the 2-0 defeat at Burnley where he failed to spot a deliberate handball by Kyle Lafferty which lead to the opening goal in February 2008, the 2-1 win at QPR in November 2007, the 2-0 defeat at Reading in January 2006, the 5-2 win at Gillingham on May 1st 2004 and the 2-1 defeat at Ipswich in November 2002.

His assistants are Carl Dunn from Staffordshire & Ian Rathbone from Northamptonshire.  The Fourth Official is Danny Gratton from Staffordshire.
