By car: Leave the M6 at junction 3. Take the A444 towards the City centre and at the first island go left and you will see the Ricoh Arena on your right.
By rail: For all train information call National Rail Enquiries on: 08457 48 49 50, but be warned Coventry station is a £10+ taxi ride away.
Parking: Parking restrictions will be imposed IF this game is expected to attract more than 10,000 spectators and the Residential Parking Scheme will be enforced. So take care where you park.
The Ricoh Arena are dealing with car parking at the ground.

Some car satellite navigation systems have not been updated to show Coventry City FC as playing at the Ricoh Arena. Those visiting the ground for the first time are advised to enter "Phoenix Way" and the post code "CV6 6GE" instead.

MATCH OFFICIALS
The currently appointed referee for Coventry City’s League One game against Port Vale on Boxing Day is Rob Lewis from Shrewsbury.
Mr Lewis started his refereeing career in the Shrewsbury and Shropshire leagues and came through the ranks as an assistant referee where he made it onto the FIFA List and ran the line for a number of high profile international matches, with one of the highlights running the line at the Bernabeu Stadium for a Champions League match when David Beckham was playing for Real Madrid.
His last City game was the 2-2 draw with Port Vale at Sixfields in March 2014 and he was in charge of the 2-0 defeat at Crawley Town on April 13th 2013. He also was in charge of a City Reserves game against Fulham in 2005 which finished 1-1.
His assistants are: Barry Cropp and Stuart Eagland. The Fourth Official is Ian Smedley.

THE LAST TIME
Saturday will see Coventry City taking on Port Vale for the fifteenth time in Coventry with one game at Sixfields
City have won only of the games, which included a 5-1 win in 1924/25 with six draws draws and six defeats, scoring 15 goals to Port Vale’s twenty.
Coventry have not beaten Port Vale at ‘home’ since March 16th 1959 when City won 1-0 as they did the season before. In 1921, City won 4-1.
Last season, City, in Tony Mowbray’s first game in charge, were beaten 3-2 at home by Vale. Jim O’Brien gave City a fourth minute lead. Tom Pope equalised in the 40th minute with former City winger Mark Marshall putting Vale 2-1 up at half-time. In the second half, Samni Odelusi equalised for City in the 69th minute but Michael O’Connor sent City to defeat with a 75th minute goal.
