THE MATCH OFFICIALS
The referee for City's opening Championship game with Norwich City is Andy D'Urso.

Mr D'Urso's last game in charge of City was the last Championship game of the season which saw the Sky Blues lose 4-1 at Charlton Athletic.

Assistants are R.Fletcher and S.Ihringova. The fourth official is Amy Rayner.

TRAVEL
By car: Leave the M6 at junction 3. Take the A444 towards the City centre and at the first island go left and you will see the Ricoh Arena on your right.

By rail: For all train information call National Rail Enquiries on: 08457 48 49 50, but be warned Coventry station is a £10+ taxi ride away. Take the 27 bus from the train station get off at Pool Meadow bus station and catch the 4 or 5 service. Or go out of doors and over the road by Sainsburys and get the 20, getting off the by Tescos.

Buses will replace trains from Birmingham New Street to Coventry and engineering works at Rugby will affect those travelling from Northampton and London.

Parking: Car parking is extremely restricted around the ground.

Park And Ride
The new park and ride site will be located at Coventry Airport in Siskin Drive and replaces the one at Whitley. It will cost £7.50 to pre-book and £8 on the day to park at Coventry Airport on match days. Parking at the two park and walk sites at Christ the King Football Club in Wheelwright Lane and Wayside Business Park in Wilsons Lane won't be affected. Vehicles can park there for £5.50 per game.

AWAY SUPPORTERS PARKING
Car parking around the Ricoh Arena is strictly limited.

However, there is a designated away supporters car park, situated around five minutes walk away from the ground. The car park is secure and cost is £5 - but spaces are limited to just 100.

Directions: M6 to junction 3. Take 3rd exit if coming from north or 1st exit if travelling from the south. At the 2nd roundabout, take the 2nd exit, under the railway bridge, through the first set of traffic lights, and pass the pedestrian lights. At the next set of lights, turn right into Blackburn Road and the car park is at the top of the road.

SAT NAV
Some car satellite navigation systems have not been updated to show Coventry City FC as playing at the Ricoh Arena. Those visiting the ground for the first time are advised to enter "Phoenix Way" and the post code "CV6 6GE" instead.

ON THE GAME
Chris Coleman told the CT: "I am really looking forward to Saturday. If we win it does not mean that we are going to get promotion or to the play-offs and if we lose it does not mean that we are going to be relegated. But it is a great opportunity because we are at home and have got some new players on show and there is a bit of excitement about the place and it will be great if we can capitalise on that."

Norwich City boss Glenn Roeder said "We have to be tougher away from home and we have to pick up a lot more points than we did last year. "I don't think we quite got to the 23 which is the bare minimum you should have in an average season to be mid-table - 23 games, 23 points "Coventry will know all about us but we'll do something different.".

City are without Leon Best, Michael Doyle and Isaac Osbourne. Aron Gunnarson is fit to play and new signings Clinton Morrison and Stephen Wright should both be ok to play some part in the game.

For Norwich, Shola Ameobi has a hamstring strain but should feature in Glenn Roeder's squad. Norwich will be without one time City target David Bell, Adam Drury and Gary Doherty.
