THE LAST TIME
This will be the 40th meeting of the two sides. Coventry have won on eighteen occasions with eight  draws. City have scored 66 goals to Cardiff's 58 .
Earlier in the season, Jay Tabb scored to give City a win 1-0 at Ninian Park. In the corresponding fixture last season and in a match wrecked by the posturing of referee Graham Poll, the match ended in a 2-2 draw. Leon McKenzie put City ahead. Michael Chopra and Peter Whittingham both scored for Cardiff who had Loovens sent off. In the 70th minute, Dele Adebola equalised.
Cardiff have yet to win at the Ricoh Arena but last won at Highfield Road with a 3-1 win thanks to some dodgy goalkeeping from Scott Shearer in 2004.
City are 19th in the Championship with Cardiff in 11th place.
