TRAVEL
By car: Leave the M6 at junction 3. Take the A444 towards the City centre and at the first island go left and you will see the Ricoh Arena on your right.

By rail: For all train information call National Rail Enquiries on: 08457 48 49 50, but be warned Coventry station is a £10+ taxi ride away. Take the 27 bus from the train station get off at Pool Meadow bus station and catch the 4 or 5 service. Or go out of doors and over the road by Sainsburys and get the 20, getting off the by Tescos.

The normal Park And Ride services will be operational.

Parking: Car parking is extremely restricted around the ground.

City supporters can now pay on the day to park at the Ricoh Arena before Coventry City home games. £10 will be charged to park in Car Park A and C with £7 for Car Park B.

Parking places are subject to availability and motorists will not be allowed to leave the car parks A & B for twenty minutes after the final whistle.

Park  And Ride
The park and ride site is at The Oak Pub  in Baginton near to Coventry Airport. I

Parking at the two park and walk sites at Christ the King Football Club in Wheelwright Lane and St Finbarrs and Wayside Business Park in Wilsons Lane.  Vehicles can park there for £5.50 per game.

AWAY SUPPORTERS PARKING
Car parking around the Ricoh Arena is strictly limited.

However, there is a designated away supporters car park, situated around five minutes walk away from the ground. The car park is secure and cost is £5 - but spaces are limited to just 100.
 
Directions: M6 to junction 3. Take 3rd exit if coming from north or 1st exit if travelling from the south. At the 2nd roundabout, take the 2nd exit, under the railway bridge, through the first set of traffic lights, and pass the pedestrian lights. At the next set of lights, turn right into Blackburn Road and the car park is at the top of the road.

Some car satellite navigation systems have not been updated to show Coventry City FC as playing at the Ricoh Arena. Those visiting the ground for the first time are advised to enter "Phoenix Way" and the post code "CV6 6GE" instead.

ADMISSION
Coventry City are not continuing with their trial of no extra matchday admission price increases for this game and prices will increase for tickets bought on the day.

Tickets can be obtained via the ticket office at the Ricoh Arena, the outlets at Coventry Cathdral or in City Central or by calling 0844 873 1883 (option 1).

THE LAST TIME
This is the 50th game between the two sides. Coventry have won 23 and drawn 15, scoring 84 goals compared to Barnsley's 62.
  
The last game between the two sides was back in August and saw a 2-0 win for City.  The corresponding fixture last season saw Daniel Bogdanovic give Barnsley the lead only for Elliott Ward to snatch a point with a stoppage time penalty.

MATCH OFFICIALS
The currently appointed referee for this fixture is Lee Mason.

Originating from Bolton and Chairman of the Bolton RA, he was introduced to refereeing by his school teacher and was appointed to the Select Group Referees list in 2006.

Mr Mason has had twenty matches so far this season and has shown sixty yellow cards and five red. His last game was Spurs 4-0 win against Peterborough in the FA Cup last Saturday.

His last City game was the 1-1 draw with Cardiff City at Highfield Road on March 12th 2005.

Assistants are Jake Collin from Merseyside  &  Paul Thompson from Derbyshire . The Fourth Official is Darren Deadman from Cambridgeshire.
