TEAM NEWS
Coventry City midfield duo Jay Tabb and Julian Gray will sit out the game Tabb was forced off at the interval of City's 2-0 win against Norwich on Saturday with a knock to his knee caused by a reckless challenge by Dejan Stefanovic whilst Gray was replaced twenty minutes from time as a precaution with a knock which what Chris Coleman described as a 'nicked his groin'.

Both Clinton Morrison and Freddie Eastwood are expected to start and Michael Mifsud is another possibility who could play on the left with Robbie Simpson on the right. Danny Ireland could also replace Keiran Westwood.

ON THE GAME
Robbie Simpson told the club website: "These games are critical and we certainly won't be treating it as a training exercise. "Aldershot won their league last year and they are a strong, physical side but they can play football as well. I played against them a few times when I was at Cambridge and they do move the ball around well. But we can use our physical presence as well.

"There will be a party atmosphere because 125 years is a big thing so me and all the boys are just hoping we can give fans a nice birthday present."

Gary Waddock speaking to The Shots said: 'Everybody at the club is looking forward to the occasion and it is a match that the players are keen to pit their wits against higher opposition.

'Coventry have started their campaign on a good note with their win on Saturday but we also won too and the players have grown in confidence out of that result. "We are going to go up there and give it a go though because we have nothing to lose. 'The players will enter the match with no fear and many of them will draw on the experiences of last season where they had to produce in pressurised situations in the run in to winning the league."
