DIon Kelly Evans has said that it was good start with a win after the Cov kid hit a 90th minute winner for Coventry City U21's in a 2-1 win against Cardiff City.
Speaking to Matt Joyce, Dion, who liked the rest of his team mates worked hard and fought until the game was won, said: "It was really good for us to start the 21s season with a win.
“In the first-half we found it difficult, chasing the ball a lot, but we got it together in the second-half and made the most of our chances.
“It was great to score the winning goal, I’ve had a bit of stick from the lads in the dressing room saying it was a cross! But I just thought shoot, hit it and you never know what could happen and luckily for me it nestled into the bottom left corner."
