Jamie Clapham will take charge of Coventry City U21's next season it has been announced.

The well travelled midfielder/wing back, whose previous clubs include Tottenham, where he made his debut against the Sky Blues, Ipswich Wolves and Leicester City, will assist Neil MacFarlane with the coaching of the first team and will take charge of the U21's team for matches.

Clapham is experienced at playing at reserve team level and scored for Wolves reserves against City at Nuneaton in 2008 and last season was working with Middlesbrough's U21's and U18's.

He replaces Dave Hockaday, who left the club following the expiring of his short term contract after doing a good job to get the U21's moving forward following the departure of Darren Murray.
