Warwickshire Rained Off

Warwickshire County Cricket Club were beaten by the weather in their Pro40 game against Yorkshire.

The Bears gave a debut to Calum McLeod and after a delayed start, they opted to bat. Jon Trott was out for 11 with Neil Carter 12 not out before rain forced the match to be abandoned with only six overs bowled.






On Saturday, Warwicks travel to Derbyshire for their final Pro40 game. Play is due to start at 12.45pm.

Warwickshire's Ian Bell has been included in the England One-Day squad for Stanford Super Series and India ODI Series but Tim Ambrose has been left out of the 15 man squad.

Coventrian Bell has been awarded a 12 month central contract by the England selectors whilst Tim Ambrose has been awarded a 12 month England Increment contract.
