Warwickshire Duo Ian Bell and Tim Ambrose both started for England cricket team in the opening test against New Zealand.

Rain at Lords meant that the start was delayed until the afternoon. England put the Kiwi's into bat and wicket keeper Ambrose took the second catch of the game when he caught Jamie How off the bowling of Anderson for seven.

A short while ago, the score had moved on to 208-6 with bad light stopping play.

Before the game, Bell admitted to being an Aston Villa fan saying: "Yes I was born in Coventry but lived in Birmingham. Most of my family are Coventry City supporters but I went the other way."
